Moving into a new house when you’re a student is bloody hard work. I was 19 and decided I really needed my independence. Me and two of my friends had decided to move in together, and moving was a nightmare.
“Finally,” we all chorused when we had moved the last of our shit in. I sorted through my room and put everything in its right place. Posters were up, DVDs were stacked and CDs were racked.
“How about a house warming?” my friend Cameron asked, walking into my room, looking around at all the hot girls on my wall. “It’s like heaven in here.” We giggled.
“House warming? I’m not sure, we’ve only just moved in, don’t wanna piss the neighbours off already,” I laughed, but I gave it some thought and agreed. “Have you told Sarah?”
He nodded and left my room. I lounged around for ages taking in my new surroundings. I was so happy that I’d moved out, I was free…
“Right, I’ve invited John, Sam, Laura, Callum, Jason, Josh, Lorna, Lisa, Imogen, Jack, Leon, Ruth, Alice, Kelly, Zack and Sophia,” Sarah said, reeling of a list of people.
“I’ve invited Peter, Carl, Karen, Kieron, Emma, Lauren, Sandy and Lucy,” Cameron said, reading his list.
