A week passed before Megan heard from Alan again. It had seemed like a long time but she used the memories of that afternoon to help her get through those seven long days. The memories had also helped her through her periods of guilt. She loved Denny; he was a good husband; a ‘diamond’ she often called him, but he could never compete with Alan sexually; never give her the experience that he had given her.
